We know modular/prefabricated homes aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but we believe they offer fantastic advantages. They help avoid weather issues during construction and can deliver well-specified homes in significantly less time than traditional building methods. The construction industry simply can’t keep “doing it that way” just because it always has.
Of course, there’s still a place for traditional masonry building. But for certain projects, modular houses, SIP panel construction, and Porotherm builds are, without a doubt, a better option.
Since April 2025, our team has proudly handled the joinery work on four modular homes in collaboration with COREHAUS LTD for a social housing provider. We’re thrilled to say that by July 2025, these four homes were a remarkable 98% ready for transport to their sites. Contrast that with the 20-25 weeks volume housebuilders typically take for a traditional build.
We’re incredibly proud of this project and hope to be back for the next four and many more to come.
